Book Review

Sometimes it is the one who loves you who hurts you the most.

‘It Ends With Us’ is yet another overwhelming (and possibly my favorite) novel by Colleen Hoover. It is the story of Lilly Bloom, a young girl living in Boston. She meets a neurosurgeon, Ryle Kincaid one night on a rooftop, and later in the novel, they start to date. Simultaneously, we read the letters Lily once wrote to Ellen Degeneres about Atlas Corrigan (her first love). Questions about her new relationship start to overwhelm her, so do thoughts of her first love. When Atlas returns, Lily is faced with some serious life-altering choices.

I feel like everyone fakes who they really are, when deep down we’re all equal amounts of screwed up. Some of us are just better at hiding it than others.

REVIEW
It Ends With Us is one of the most powerful books and the rawest, honest, inspiring, and profoundly beautiful stories I’ve ever read. My love for Colleen Hoover is immortal. The novels should warn you beforehand about the damage that’s tagged along the way. This book has a ton of heartfelt thoughts and plenty of unpropitious ones. Knowing Colleen Hoover, the expected cliffhangers associated with every novel are something to look forward to. This novel was literally heartbreaking. You need a box of tissues and comfort food to help you get along. No words could ever do justice to how remarkably, wildly yet subtly this novel is written.

I think about how sometimes, no matter how convinced you are that your life will turn out a certain way, all that certainty can be washed away with a simple change in tide.

The story is based on Colleen’s mother. She’s is not exactly Lily but she’s the one who inspired to write a character like Lily. Bold, independent, strong, adventurous, and tag along with another 500 adjectives, that’s what LILY BLOOM is. She’s one of my favorite characters throughout. I love how the story goes into flashbacks and I absolutely ship Atlas and Lily.

Naked truths aren’t always pretty.

I have read this novel 10000 times. Made my friends force read this and ended up with so many gifts for introducing them to such a beautiful author. I won’t talk about the novel anymore because it’ll ruin the essence. It is undoubtedly a must-read, a must-have, and definitely worth revisiting. Go to your nearest stores or order it NOWWWWW.

This is just human nature, healing an old wound to prepare for a fresh new layer.

And I can go on and on but take this as a sign to be vulnerable with Hoover.
It deserves infinite ?
